So, since the last entry, we have been very busy.
We made our journey to California! Anaheim ACN convention, it was really fun, and I love being around my family! They are so much fun, and I love the energy and encouragement they give me and everyone else who is involved with ACN.
Jonathan and I had never been to California before, but we both liked it. We had a nice hotel room, RIGHT next to the entrance to Disneyland (talk about temptation!) We finally went sunday night to downtown disney and went out to eat. The ACN convention was great and uplifting, and inspiring. Even though I had really bad back problems throughout the entire event, I tried my best to attend, the chairs hurt me. But I tried not to tell anyone, didn't want to be a complainer. Also, Jonathan doesn't like being in large crowds, and the convention numbered in the 15,000 range....because so many people realize the money making opportunity there! Way to go all you ACN'ers!
Since the convention, Jonathan came back and has been going to school and I've been going Christmas shopping preparing for the trek home! I'm so excited, because this is the first time in, umm, EVER, I have been able to get everyone a decent gift. So, I'm very happy to go home and give, give and give. I love my family, and the newest part of my family, the Lawrences' and made them very personal scrapbook calendars with pictures of their families in it. Maybe after they get them, I will post the pictures...not sure if they read this! oops
Also, I made a ton of these magnents for my family and others because I always get huge compliments on them, so I thought....maybe they'd like 'em! Plus they are easy, cute and inexpensive! if you want to know how to make them, just ask!
On December 5th, Sheena Dively, one of the best girls in the whole world, and one of my best friends since forever!! Our families have been friends for a long long time, before I was born! Got engaged! I'm so happy for her! She deserves the best man in the world, and even though I haven't met him, I know he's wonderful, because sheena knows not to lower her standards (trust me there have been MANY phone calls that have ended with, Sheena, you know he's not good enough for you. Or! Sheena, you can do better. Or!!! my personal favorite, Sheena, stop complaining! You are GORGEOUS! that boy is just plain stupid
and I hope he tells her that everyday, (that she is gorgeous,) because every woman deserves that. My husband tells me often, and it makes me feel very special. Not to mention, he does so much for me, Sheena, I hope your marriage is as wonderful as mine, I'm so happy. I know you will be too!
We FINALLY got snow here in Utah, and it's supposed to snow right on through Christmas! Yay! I'm so excited, the snow here is gorgeous, but we can no longer drive my car home because of the weather, thank goodness gas is SO CHEAP! Thank you Obama, for your recession.
