What the government has done for YOU!

I'm a big person for politics...so this is for all of you who are NOT paying attention.

We are in the midst of a complete meltdown........just watch this video...you are now paying for people who were careless w/ their mortgages....did you vote for this?
For 30 million for a swamp mouse in california? or only 4 million jobs in the next 4 years? What about 350 million for overseas contraception? Or how about socialized health care where there is a waiting line no matter what. We are now living in a society of entitlement, where college students believe they should recieve a "B" grade just for showing up....where we do not hold anyone accountable for morally wrong things. Or how our treasury secretary didn't even pay his taxes for 4 years....and he still has a job....did you call your representative about that? Time to take a stand...why aren't you? I know you have excuses, like jobs and children, but these people are pulling the rug out from under our feet......and you're not fighting to continue to stand?? But fall because you were pre-occupied?
Isn't doing nothing WORSE than trying to do SOMETHING?
The list goes on and on......or how about Jugo Chavez praising Obama saying we'll be like Venezula soon? If you don't know what I'm talking about then you should start paying attention because MSNBC and CNN aren't reporting!!!did you know that mexico is on the verge of collapse? kiddnapping our american children daily and beheading entire families?! How about the 13 yr. old kid who fathered a child in the UK. If you think this nation is under fire and you're not quite sure what do to...WATCH and listen to Glenn Beck...and others with like minds.....you're not the only one....

Gird up your loins people because the time has come....

Glenn Becks'
9 Principles to live by -
1. America is good place, not perfect, but good.
2. I believe in God and He is the center of my life.
3. I must try to be a better, more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness and not a guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have. I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree or share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them. They answer to me.

And 12 Values...

• Honesty• Reverence• Hope• Thrift• Humility• Charity• Sincerity• Moderation• Hard work• Courage• Personal responsibility• Friendship

do we hold our government by these standards...let alone ourselves and our families?

Valentines Day!

So for valentines day Jonathan and I went out to a steakhouse, Ruby River. SO good, I had filet mignon and he had steak and ribs. NOT in the diet, but sooo good. Jonathan has lost 20 lbs but unfortunately with my back and a new medicine...the pill....everything has backlashed on me. (I've stayed the same, the biggest I've ever been. which is very discouraging, but I am swimming everyday and trying hard. I don't like where I'm at.....)
We actually went out early on Tuesday to beat the rush. But on the actual day before I was struggling...It was sooo hard to figure out what to get Jonathan for Valentines day! After much thought and deliberation, I rented him a snowmobile for the day, and it was SO fun! we had a great time and Jonathan got me a new pair of cowboy boots. that are awesome! he also got me flowers, a very nice card and a cute balloon in the shape of a heart. My husband is the sweetest most loving man. Today he helped me "gut" clean the house. I love being with him, he is so supportive and so fun/funny. I don't think I could live without him, and I know I never will :)

The pictures show -
where we went snowmobiling and how deep the snow was.......8-9 feet in some places we were told....
Some Valentines day stuff and us out on the snowmobile, it was hard to take pictures so that's why they are not so great!
