So, the past month or so has been a little boring for Jon and I. I thoroughly enjoyed Sheena & Jeff's wedding and I'm so glad to finally see her happy! I mean, really happy. I love the Divelys' they are one of the nicest families I've ever known and I'm glad my family has such a close relationship with them. Not to mention I made a few new friends while in Cali, surprised, I know, me too.
Jonathan and I have started weight watchers. I've lost a total of 11 pounds in less than 2 weeks on the program and Jonathan has lost 10 pounds, but he has started P90X again.. I suspect he's gaining muscle too.
We have also planted a small flower garden and a few veggies in our front yard. Not much going on really.
I also attended the Tea Party in SLC on the 15th of April. It was amazing. I also attend meetings for the Glenn Beck 9-12 project. (http://www.the912project.com/) I think I've found my calling in life, lol. Politics. I LOVE IT. I've loved it for a long long time, not really sure why I haven't thought about going to school for it before, but now I think I'm ready for it. Maybe, just maybe you'll see me on Fox News someday. HA! And I'm obviously a conservative...not a republican...a conservative...big difference!
Easter was fun, I got Jon a new Wii game that we love. Party Games 2 and we play it all the time! Darts, horseshoes etc. Jonathan got me electric socks, because my feet never cease to be cold. Genius gift! We just made some stuff on the grill and then went to the sand dunes to ride 4-wheelers and camped out overnight. We love camping.
I've been considering a job offer I got. I would basically run a large rental place for 4-wheelers, sideXsides, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles etc. I'm not really sure if it's something I should do, because when I start managing again, I'm sure I'll be there long hours. Right now it would be just a little bit then build up to more and more hours. The weather has been ridiculous here lately. Snow, rain, 85 degrees, then 2 days later thunderstorms with snow. So, rentals aren't too consistent right now, but I'd basically be running the place and I'd be right underneath the owner...so it'd be GREAT money.
The Economy here in Utah is slowing down but it's definitely not at a stand still. There are jobs posted everyday like crazy. I can't believe it. Now, I think our country is in a recession/depression....it's different all over, but I also think there are a lot of cover ups going on right now politically. I think that's why I'm finally getting involved because there is so much going on, it's hard to keep up with. All this supposed "change" people wanted when they voted Obama in, is turning out to be EXACTLY what he said it would be. Socialistic. It's really scary to me to think that the American way of life is being threatened at every turn. That capitalism and the idea that we cannot make as much money as we want as long as we work hard enough could be gone, and we could have a dictator.
Now, a lot of you out there reading this think, oh no, that's not possible, not going to happen. But did we think that the housing market could crash, not if you were listening to Barney Frank. How about having the Catholic church being told that they would have to pay taxes because they were too much of an influence in the New England states.
Isn't our freedom what makes this nation so wonderful?
Or lets look at how we have met with terrorists and shook their hands and hugged them...talk about shocking...(not to mention weakening our country)
or lets look at all of the many things you thought couldn't or wouldn't happen in your life and/or your families. It is possible...many of the younger generations in this country think that socialism is okay and the European, lax, everything will be fine, you can get yourself taken care of through the government attitude/feeling is sweeping the nation. Don't believe me?....then you should probably start reading up...and watching the news. Because the evidence is everywhere! Not to mention the constitution is under attack almost every time that Congress meets. A lot of left winged, liberal/progressive type of people are in charge of congress a.k.a. democrats
...time for a REAL change America! lets do our homework and make a difference in our lives, and especially our children's!
