Us 4 wheeling, yeah muddy faces, in high happy places....ha ha

Mt. Timpanogos to the right and surrounding areas in the UT county. Mt Timpanogos is about 11,750 feet high. that would be spanish fork peak behind us!
Okay, So, Here's the scoop....
First Up - Twilight. My life has been completely rocked by this stinkin' saga! I LOVE IT. I'm so addicted...I have read over half the series (twilight, new moon and eclipse) in less than 5 days. Yes, you read right, less than 5 days. Disgusting! I read all night and my poor husband is going to school now, so atleast I'm up by the time he gets home. (he usually goes from 6 or 7 AM until 11-12,) Also, Jonathan actually LIKED the movie Twilight (I'm not real sure why it was PG-13, but whatever, the world is twisted!)oh, I liked it too, I was glued......but it was only like 1/10th of the book..
Just in case you're wondering an AVERAGE day at Helicopter school costs.... around 700.00. Ta Dah! You read right, 700.00 if he flys that day.
but it will pay off, because 1st it has too, second, we have taken out A LOT of money for this danged school. I know ACN will pay it off :) And one day I know ACN will provide us with enough to do tours in Alaska from our cabin and let us buy a helicopter of our own......I give it 10 years! Woo Hoo! We will fly you up there courtesy of The Lazy Lawrences' Alaskan Hunting Tours ( who knows, I just made that name up, sounds nice though! HA HA)
Next up... 4 Wheeling.....maybe we do it too much, but we do it enough to get out. We're such home bodies....ugh. But we are being told often, newly weds are. So that's fine w/ us, we're content with being with each other, A LOT. but we knew that while traveling across the west in the parks!
I went to see Tracey Lawrence a while back and that was really fun. I went with like 5 friends, and it was great to be so up close and in a nice small setting! Sooo much better than a big concert, I think those are boring. Jonathan didn't go because he doesn't like that kind of thing, but it's cool....I left early because I missed him....yeah, I left a party/concert early. Crazy....
Right now I'm getting super psyched about going to California to spice up my life. First off, it's for ACN and I'm so excited about ACN, I read and read and watch and watch stuff online to learn about ACN. I love the meetings here in SLC, the meetings are so informative and creative. It's just the bare bones of this business, and gets you EXCITED for this opportunity. No, it's not a job, but an opportunity I'm glad to be apart of. Thanks Steve and Trista!!!
I'm super addicted to facebook and discovering new country music. Right now, I love Jason Aldeans' She's Country {plus I've met him, so yeah, I like him!}, Alan Jacksons' Country Boy, Joey & Rory Cheater Cheater, Anything by Ashley Monroe, A Song called Addicted, Pretty much those songs/artists ( little secret, I'm a closet Britney Spears MUSIC ONLY fan......womanizer, don't ask, because I don't even KNOW! dang it it's shameful....)
Seth ( my cousin, Steve and Trista's eldest) came down with 4 of his friends from BYU-Idaho to visit for an extended weekend. The original plan was to stay from Thursday til Sunday, on Sat. afternoon, Seth looks at me and says "Oh, we're staying until Monday." I replied with "Oh, that's fine." Then he asked me, "Is that okay?" I just looked at him like DUH.
Anyways, we had Thanksgiving early just to ensure these boys (James, Ryan and Seth were the only ones left after their friends "the girls, Riley and Lauren" were gone.) got a decent dinner.
I bought a 22 lb turkey, which turned out FABULOUS, I was sooo happy I could actually make it, especially when that little popper timer thing didn't work. Then, I made ( yes all by myself! that's what I'm most proud of!!) My grandmas' mashed potatoes and turkey gravy...man were they delish! I bought my rolls from the famous lion house pantry. Made pumpkin pie, apple crisp ( no recipe, I just throw stuff in there like butter and sugar ha ha) honey butter, green bean casserole. Sweet potatoe and yams together with marshmallow cream, YUMMY! Stuffing, you know the usual. And it was FANTASTIC, I was so impressed with myself, I could barely eat any of it....because you eat everything along the way. Pretty much thats' how it goes.
In the aftermath of the dinner, I called my grandma, and said..."How do you do all of this with ONE OVEN!? It's ridiculous!" She, the master chef replied, you just do.
What insight.
AND CHRISTMAS.......OH MY GOSH CHRISTMAS IS COMING, can you believe it!? I'm wishing I could go home this year, but man I've been home a lot and with going to California, Alaska, driving across the US TWICE this year. Driving from Alaska to Utah, Las Vegas twice, Bryce Canyon, Zions NP, Lava Hot Springs, ID.....wow........
DE;PA;MD;UT;ID;MT;AK
Through Canada.....talk about amazing...too bad its' socialist YUCK!
CALI;NV;WY;CO;NE;IO;ILL;IN;OH;WA
and then some....sheesh...We're a traveled couple!
were we on tour!?
Well, we love you all and wish you a Merry Christmas, (because I don't mess around. It's Merry Christmas, Christ was born, so it's CHRISTmas!!!)
and I thought I didn't have anything to say....yeah right, I'm not fooling ANYONE! I always have something to say!!!
God Bless
S&J
